What is GETI?

GETI is part of a global grassroots movement 

supporting citizen action toward reducing oil dependence and building local community resilience and ecological sustainability.

There are currently:

  • 427+ official Transition Initiatives 
  • in 34 countries
  • 23 initiatives in Canada
  • 9 in BC 
  • ...and over 545 more in the works!
